Motherhood…it holds so many emotions all at once. From the beauty and pain of growing and birthing a child to the challenges and pleasures of looking after that little life from that moment on. Becoming a mother is often such a poignant moment in a woman’s life and being able to capture that in photographs is something I value so highly. There are enough voices and messages in our daily lives that tell us we are not succeeding or meeting the standard as a mother. I am passionate about creating art for women that brings hope and shows her beauty even amongst whatever she is feeling that day. To have a picture of herself that speaks of who she is and lifts her up. My hope is that the layers of light and colour speak to your heart and evoke emotion in ways that words alone cannot.
