I want you to enjoy this experience right from the start. Preserving your memories is not something I take lightly, it is something so valuable. I want you to have a great experience and walk away at the end with a quality product in your hand that you treasure.

The Lead Up.

You will have plenty of questions that go through your mind after booking your session. You can rest assured that I will be there to answer all of them! You will also have exclusive access to my guides that help with how to prepare for your session. As a client of mine you will also have access to a discount at Mama Rentals if you want to hire stunning rental garments.

The Session.

I like to keep sessions relaxed and fun. I want you to be yourselves and enjoy our time together. I want you to feel that you can come as you are and embrace the mess and the intricacies of your family. These are the special things that make you, you and we want to capture all of it! I will have a plan for our time at the location but sometimes, especially if there are kids involved, we will have to go with the flow. Part of capturing kids naturally is allowing them to explore and play, so we will have time for that.

The Location.

There are several locations I have hand picked because of certain factors, the main one being the lighting. I have a range of locations to suit different preferences such as beach, native bush, greenery, grasses and water. I am happy to chat about what location suits you best and am open to other suggestions if you have them too.

The Time of Day.

I conduct my outdoor sessions in the first hour after sunrise or the last hour before sunset. This is an artistic preference and the specific lighting I use to achieve the effect you see in my photos. Indoor sessions don't have this restriction and can be done at any time during the day.

What If.

Who knows we cannot control the weather or whether someone gets sick! It can be frustrating for you if you have planned everything out around a certain date and you can't go ahead. If on the day of your booking, the weather is too wet or windy to proceed or someone gets sick, I’m happy to reschedule. I'm usually pretty flexible and can wait up until a few hours before to make a decision. Feel free to message or call me if you are concerned about the weather for your session.

Pricing.

I want this whole process from beginning to end to be an enjoyable experience. I don’t want to give you more on your to do list once we are finished - your time is valuable too. I love to tell your story through your session photos and I don’t want to put you through the task of choosing which special memories you want to keep. For these reasons, where I can, I have offered an all inclusive package that takes all of those things out of the equation so that you can walk away with a full heart.

Family, Maternity and Newborn Photography Packages.

Session Fee - $300 (required to book in)

Includes:

  • Your session of up to 90 minutes in length, at a location or in your own home

  • Phone or video call with Vanessa prior to your session to get to know each other and chat about what you want to capture most in you photos

  • A personal online gallery to view your session images that have been individually edited with love and care

Digital and Print Packages (chosen after your session and purchased on top of session fee)

Package 1 - $450 ($750 total)

  • 10 high res digital images via download

  • One 8 x 12 inch print


Package 2 - $750 ($1050 total)

  • All the high res digital images via download (Approx. 100 - 150 images)

  • Digital slideshow with music via download

  • One 12 x 18 inch fine art print

  • One 8 x 12 inch print

For the Experienced Dancer.

Session Fee - $300 (required to book in)

Includes:

  • Your session of up to 60 minutes in length on location

  • Three outfit changes

  • Headshots, creative poses, movement shots

  • Phone or video call with Vanessa prior to your session to get to know each other and plan your session together

  • Vanessa’s 20 years of dance expertise

  • A personal online gallery to view and share your session images that have been individually edited with love and care

Digital and Print Packages (chosen after your session and purchased on top of session fee)

Package 1 - $250 ($550 total)

  • 10 high res digital images via download

  • One 8 x 12 inch print

Package 2 - $450 ($750 total)

  • All the high res digital images via download (approx. 50 - 100 images)

  • Digital slideshow of images with music via download

  • One 12 x 18 inch fine art print
